Message	have informed of as much. Always expect to lose at the first trial unless you can present a technicality. The facts don't actually come into play until you present your appeal. I'm going through this as well, the officer was my star witness and the magistrate STILL ruled against me (disregarded both my own testimony and that of the officer).
